Automotive Protection Services in Tukwila & Monroe, Washington

APC Auto Spa builds protection plans around how a vehicle is actually used in the Puget Sound region - wet winters, cedar pollen in spring, relentless highway debris on I-5 and Highway 2, and enough summer sun to cook an untreated dashboard. Below is every service we offer, what it actually does, and who it is for, so you can decide what belongs on your vehicle before you ever pick up the phone.

Every service we offer

Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic Pro coatings that lock in gloss and make Pacific Northwest grime far easier to wash off. Starting at $900.

Coatings are layered onto corrected paint so water, road film, tree sap and cedar pollen sit on top of the coating instead of etching clear coat. Four packages: Bronze (2-year warranty), Silver (5-year), ION (7-year) and Ultimate ION (lifetime), all installed in one day with a 7-10 day cure. Every package includes Ceramic Pro Glass on the windshield and Wheel & Caliper on the wheel faces.

Best for: New vehicle deliveries, daily drivers parked outside, anyone tired of constant waxing.

Paint Protection Film

Self-healing STEK DYNOshield film that physically absorbs rock chips on I-5, I-405 and Highway 2. Starting at $1,500.

Most film is plotter-cut for the vehicle, while bulk film lets our installers wrap and tuck edges out of sight for custom work, unusual shapes, and partial panels. Coverage runs from Partial + Front to Full Front to full-body, and film can be ceramic coated on top for easier cleaning. APC is a STEK certified installer and DYNOshield carries a 10-year warranty.

Best for: Highway commuters, performance and luxury vehicles, leased cars with wear clauses.

Window Tint

Ceramic IR window film that cuts heat and glare without the purple fade of cheap dyed film. Starting at $190.

Ceramic IR film blocks infrared heat and 99% of UV while staying signal-friendly for phones, keyless entry and toll transponders. We stock 15%, 25%, 35% and 70% VLT and help you pick shades that stay inside Washington's limits for each window. Most installs take one to four hours.

Best for: Summer heat rejection, interior and upholstery protection, privacy for rear cabins.

Auto Detailing

Hand washes, decontamination, polishing and interior work that reset a vehicle before protection goes on. Starting at $100.

Detailing spans the monthly APC Hand Wash, the annual Decontamination Wash, single-stage machine polishing in the Full Exterior Detail, Standard and Full Interior details, and the entry-level Ceramic Pro Sport coating. Every coating and film job starts here, because protection applied over defects locks those defects in.

Best for: Pre-sale prep, seasonal resets, correcting swirl marks from automatic car washes.

Ceramic Pro LUX Interior

Interior coating for leather, fabric, Alcantara and hard surfaces that resists staining and UV wear. Starting at $360.

LUX Interior bonds to upholstery and trim so coffee, pet accidents and denim dye transfer release instead of setting. Paired with UV inhibition, it slows the cracking and fading that Washington sun causes on dashboards and door cards.

Best for: Family vehicles, rideshare fleets, light-colored leather interiors.

Colored PPF

Color-change paint protection film - a full restyle that also protects the factory paint underneath.

Colored and specialty-finish PPF changes a vehicle's appearance while keeping the original paint intact and warrantable. Because it is film rather than vinyl, it carries the same self-healing and impact resistance as clear PPF.

Best for: Restyling without repainting, satin and matte conversions, show builds.

Headlight PPF

Optically clear film over headlights and taillights to stop hazing, yellowing and rock strikes.

Modern polycarbonate lenses oxidize and cloud long before the rest of the car ages. Film shields the lens surface, and tinted or amber variants are available where local rules allow.

Best for: Expensive LED and matrix headlight assemblies, off-road and gravel driving.

Windshield Protection Film

ClearPlex Contour windshield film that takes the chip instead of your glass - and your ADAS calibration bill. Starting at $700.

A windshield replacement on a camera-equipped vehicle means recalibration on top of glass cost. Windshield film absorbs highway debris impacts and can be replaced on its own if it takes a hard hit.

Best for: Vehicles with ADAS cameras, frequent Highway 2 and mountain pass drivers.

Truck Paint Protection Film

Panel-by-panel film for pickups, because a truck usually should not buy the coverage a car buys. Rocker $225, tailgate $250.

A truck front is mostly grille, the hood edge often sits above the debris line, and fender flares already cover the fender - so Full Front frequently spends money where a truck does not wear. Trucks wear low and rear: rockers, lower doors, ahead of the rear arches, tailgates and bed rails. We build coverage panel by panel, and partial coverage is priced as a fraction of the panel.

Best for: Work trucks, trail and camp rigs, lifted half-tons and duallys, flared pickups.

Sprinter & Oversized Vehicles

Sprinter vans, campers, Class B RVs and enclosed trailers up to 13 feet 6 inches tall. Monroe only. From $230.

The Monroe bay has an 11-foot-wide door, 13 feet 6 inches of clearance and comfortable working room for vehicles up to 30 feet long, so tall vans and trailers that other shops turn away fit inside. Wash, decontamination, exterior detail, Ceramic Pro coatings, Ceramic IR tint and paint protection film are all available. On campers we service the cab and exterior, not the living area.

Best for: Sprinter vans, camper vans and Class B RVs, enclosed trailers, box trucks, commercial fleets.

Tesla Protection

Film, Ceramic Pro coatings, Ceramic IR tint and LUX interior for Teslas - including what we would skip. Full-vehicle film from $5,700.

Teslas are priced by Tesla's own designation: Model 3 and Model S as cars, Model Y and Model X as SUVs, Cybertruck as a truck, with no luxury upcharge. Film never goes over sensors or cameras, we do not tint glass roofs (it already has factory heat and UV protection, and film can cause heat stress that cracks the glass), and we do not recommend windshield film on a Tesla. Tint matters more here because a parked Tesla spends charge cooling its own cabin.

Best for: First-time and longtime Tesla owners, Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck.

White Glove Delivery

Coordinated protection on a brand-new vehicle before the owner ever takes delivery.

We work directly with dealerships and private buyers so a new car is decontaminated, corrected, filmed and coated before handoff, arriving fully protected rather than needing a second appointment weeks later.

Best for: New purchases, out-of-state deliveries, dealership partners.

Choosing the right protection

Ceramic coating or paint protection film - which do I need?

They do different jobs. PPF stops physical damage: rock chips, gravel, road debris on the front end. A ceramic coating resists UV, chemicals and water spots and makes the whole car easier to wash. If you drive freeways daily, start with PPF on the front; if your main complaint is washing and fading, start with a coating. Many customers do both, and the coating goes over the film.

What order should services be done in?

Detailing and paint correction first, so defects aren't sealed in. Paint protection film next on the panels that take hits. Ceramic coating over both paint and film. Window tint and interior coatings are independent and can be added at any point.

What does a full protection package cost?

As a starting point for a car: Full Front PPF from $1,500, a ceramic coating from $900, and Ceramic IR tint from $190. Adding a coating to Full Front film saves 30% on the coating, from $2,840 for a car. Trucks, SUVs and larger vehicles run higher, and we quote add-ons on site.

How long will my vehicle be in the shop?

Most single services are same-day: coatings and Full Front PPF in one day, tint in one to four hours, windshield film starting at two hours, details in two to four hours. Full-body PPF takes three to five days. Combining services adds time, and Monroe offers complimentary loaner cars by reservation for services four hours or longer.
