The film doesn't make glass unbreakable, but it takes the small, sharp impacts that start most chips and cracks, and it can be replaced when it's worn instead of the windshield itself. Pricing is by windshield size: $700 for a standard windshield, $750 for a large one and $800 for an oversized or panoramic windshield. After the install, the film can look slightly hazy for two to four days while it cures to full clarity. That's normal and it goes away on its own.
