Every coating is cured in the shop under infrared lamps, the same kind body shops use to cure fresh paint, before you leave. Many shops keep a freshly coated car overnight; we invested in IR curing so you can take yours home the same day. IR curing speeds up the same cure; it doesn't skip it. Your car is safe to drive and fine in the rain right away, and the coating keeps hardening over the next 7 to 10 days, so hold off on washing until then.

ION packages also coat every window and are available while current inventory lasts. The car goes home the same day and cures for 7 to 10 days. You can drive it and it can get rained on; just don't wash it until the cure is done. A coating won't stop rock chips; that's what paint protection film is for, and pairing film with a coating saves 30% on the coating.
From Canyon Park, North Creek or the Mill Creek side, Monroe is usually the easier drive: SR-522 east to 14253 169th Drive SE. From downtown Bothell or the Kenmore side, I-405 south to our Tukwila shop at 1050 Industry Drive often works better, depending on traffic. Drop off in the morning and pick up that evening at either one.
Bothell's mix of office parks and wooded neighborhoods is hard on paint: open parking lots around Canyon Park and North Creek during the day, and tree cover in the neighborhoods near UW Bothell and along the Sammamish River at night. A coating makes both easier to clean up after.

Open office lots A car parked in an open lot all day takes a lot of UV. Ceramic Pro adds UV resistance that helps paint hold its color and gloss.
Evergreens and sap Sap, pollen and needles from neighborhood trees stick to paint. On coated paint they wash off instead of bonding.
Rain and water spots The minerals left behind when rain dries cause water spots. Coated paint sheds water before spots can form.
Highway grime I-405 and SR-522 coat cars in road film and brake dust. It rinses off coated paint and wheels far more easily.
