Chrome delete at APC Auto Spa: exterior chrome trim, grille accents, badges, handles and mirror-cap accents finished in black or another finish with film, at our Monroe and Tukwila, WA shops.
Chrome delete is a trim and accent service. Instead of replacing parts, we cover the bright chrome on your vehicle's exterior with film so it reads black - or another available finish - while the factory trim stays untouched underneath.
Typical areas include window surrounds, grille accents, badges, door handles and mirror-cap accents. Not every component can be filmed: textured, deeply contoured, painted-on or bonded chrome pieces are evaluated in person, and we will tell you which areas on your specific vehicle can be finished cleanly and which cannot.
We use STEK film for this work where it suits the component. Because the film is removable and the original trim remains in place, chrome delete is a common choice for leased vehicles and for owners who want the option to return the car to stock later.
Chrome delete is a secondary service at APC Auto Spa. We do not offer general or full-vehicle vinyl wrapping. If you want a color or finish change across the whole vehicle, that is colored paint protection film, which is a different service.
