APC Membership: The Care Plan We Built for Our Coating and PPF Customers

I want to tell you about something we just launched — and why.

Ten years ago, we opened APC Auto Spa because we saw a gap. Ceramic coating and paint protection film were becoming standard for people who cared about their vehicles, but the follow-through — the actual care of those investments over time — was a mess. Coatings would get installed and then neglected. PPF would go years without proper maintenance. Customers would spend thousands on protection and then watch it slowly fail because nobody made maintenance easy.

We've spent the last decade fixing that for our customers, one Annual Maintenance appointment at a time. And that experience is exactly what led us to build APC Membership.


Why We Built It

For a long time, our best customers have been the ones who came back religiously — Annual Maintenance every twelve months, hand washes throughout the year, always trusting us with their coated or PPF-protected vehicles. These are the customers who understand that a coating installation is only worth the investment if it's maintained.

But maintaining that kind of routine takes effort. It means remembering when your maintenance is due. It means budgeting for it. It means booking hand washes throughout the year and coming to us for other services instead of the shop down the street.

We wanted to make it easier. And we wanted to reward the customers who were already doing it — the ones who never needed a reminder to come back, who trusted us as part of their vehicle's long-term care.

That's what APC Membership is.


What Membership Actually Includes

Three things, in every tier, for a locked monthly rate:

Monthly maintenance credit. Every month, a set dollar amount accrues toward your next Annual Maintenance. By the time your maintenance is due, your credit balance covers it. No surprise bill. Just show up.

APC Hand Washes throughout the year. Depending on which tier you pick, you get 2, 4, or 12 APC Hand Washes per year included in your membership. These aren't drive-through washes — they're the same standard we hold for coating and PPF prep work. Interior vacuum, door jambs, wheel faces and barrels, exhaust tips, windows in and out, tire dressing. The kind of wash your coating actually deserves.

15% off other services. Every time you visit APC for something else — window tint, PPF, a paint correction, upgrades — you save 15% as a member. Every visit.

Plus a 24-month price lock. Whatever you pay when you enroll, that's what you pay for the next two years. Even if our prices go up during that window (and they will — more on that below), your rate stays where it started.


Who It's For

APC Membership is exclusively for customers with ceramic coating or paint protection film installed on their vehicle. Whether we installed it or another shop did — as long as your vehicle has active coating or PPF, you're eligible.

The program is designed around one idea: protecting your coating and PPF investment over the long term should be simple, predictable, and worth it.

If your vehicle doesn't have coating or PPF yet, membership isn't quite for you yet. But if you're considering coating or PPF from us, joining membership right after installation stacks the value — 15% off future services, monthly credit toward maintenance, and today's pricing locked in for two years.


How Do You Know If It's Right for You?

The math is simple: if you already buy Annual Maintenance from us, plus a hand wash or two per year, plus any other service — you're likely paying more than membership costs. Members who use their included services regularly get more value from the program than they pay in dues. The 15% discount on top of that is a bonus.

Here's a real example. A Protected Plus SUV/Truck member pays $53 per month in dues. Their membership includes:

$720 in included services for $636 per year. And that's before the 15% discount on anything else they buy.

Members who don't visit often may find they don't need the highest tier. Members who use APC frequently often find the highest tier pays for itself several times over.

The three tiers exist because different customers have different needs:

Each tier is priced by vehicle type (Car, SUV/Truck, 3rd Row, Sprinter), so what you pay reflects the actual work involved with your specific vehicle.


Now for the Part I'd Rather Not Write

I said above that our prices are going up. Here's what that means.

On August 30, 2026, our APC Hand Wash prices and our Annual Ceramic Coating Maintenance prices increase by 20%. This is the first meaningful price change we've made in a long time. It reflects real increases in what materials, labor, insurance, and equipment cost us — and it lets us keep delivering the same quality of work you've come to expect from APC.

Every other service we offer stays at current pricing.

But here's why membership matters right now: anyone who enrolls before August 30 locks in today's pricing for 24 months. That includes membership dues, and the value calculation of your included services stays based on today's retail rates — even after our standard prices go up on August 30.

For a customer who joins today, that's real money. A Protected Plus SUV/Truck member who enrolls in July locks in $53/month. Someone who enrolls in September will pay $59/month for the same membership. Over 24 months, that's $144 more in dues alone — before counting the difference in service retail values.

Founding-member pricing is genuinely a limited window. Not a marketing tactic — a real deadline tied to a real price change. August 30 is when it closes.


How to Enroll

Everything happens online through your APC My Garage account. If you already have a Garage account, sign in at garage.apcautospa.com and go to Membership. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one when you enroll.

The enrollment flow takes a few minutes:

  1. Pick your vehicle from your Garage (or add it)
  2. Confirm your vehicle has ceramic coating or PPF (and where it was installed)
  3. Choose your tier
  4. Pick your preferred APC location (Monroe or Tukwila)
  5. Review and complete payment

Your first APC Hand Wash credit is available immediately after enrollment, so you can book a wash the same day. Monthly maintenance credit begins accruing the first of the following month.
