The big difference from a vinyl wrap is protection. Vinyl is thin and mostly cosmetic, so a rock that would chip your paint usually chips a wrap too. Shift is a urethane paint protection film, so it absorbs those impacts, and fine swirls in the film close back up with heat. It also protects the original paint underneath, which matters if you plan to sell the car or it's a lease. Full-vehicle color changes start at $5,000 and are quoted per car, because size and finish change the job. Gloss, satin and matte finishes are available. If you want a smaller change, accent pieces and chrome delete are options too. The film comes with its own built-in top coat, so it doesn't need a ceramic coating on top. Sprinters and other oversized vehicles are handled at our Monroe shop.
