Inside Your APC Service Report: What It Is, What It Means, and How to Access It
When you pick up your vehicle from APC Auto Spa, your service doesn't end at the studio door. Every customer who receives PPF, ceramic coating, window tint, or windshield protection is sent a link to their personalized Vehicle Service Report — a professionally produced document that captures every service performed, explains the technology protecting your vehicle, details your warranty coverage, and permanently documents your investment on your CARFAX report.
The report lives in My Garage — your personal APC customer portal at apcautospa.com/garage — where it's available to view and download any time. Here's a full breakdown of what's inside.

What Is the APC Vehicle Service Report?
The Vehicle Service Report is a custom document prepared by our team for every customer who receives paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, window tint, or windshield protection. It's not a generic brochure — it's built specifically for your vehicle, your service date, your investment, and your warranty terms.
Each report includes your name, vehicle year/make/model, service dates, location, and total investment on the cover. It's designed to serve as a permanent record of everything done to your vehicle — something you can reference, share with a future buyer, or hand to a dealer at trade-in.
What's Inside the Report
Section 01 — Complete Protection Package Summary
This section lists every service performed on your vehicle in a clean, itemized format — each service name, the category it falls under (PPF, ceramic coating, tint), and the individual price. The total investment is shown at the bottom. It's the at-a-glance record of exactly what was done.
Section 02 — Paint Protection Film (if applicable)
If your vehicle received PPF, the report includes a full explanation of what paint protection film is, how it works, and why it matters for your specific vehicle. Key specs like film thickness (8 mil), self-healing scratch recovery technology, and the 12-year warranty are called out. There's also a section on why PPF matters — particularly for highway driving, where rock chips and road debris cause cumulative, value-eroding damage to your clear coat over time.
Section 03 — Ceramic Coating (if applicable)
For customers who received Ceramic Pro ION or any coating package, this section explains how the nano-ceramic technology works at a molecular level — filling the microscopic pores in your clear coat and forming a permanent chemical bond that creates a layer harder than 9H. UV rejection rates, hydrophobic performance, and long-term maintenance benefits are all covered. A second page explains exactly what you'll notice in daily use: the deep mirror-like gloss, water beading, and dramatically easier washing.
Section 04 — Window Tint (if applicable)
Window tint customers receive a technology explainer covering how Ceramic IR film uses nanoparticles to selectively filter infrared heat and UV radiation — blocking up to 99% of UV-A and UV-B radiation without interfering with GPS, Bluetooth, or cell signals. The lifetime warranty, 0% signal interference specs, and cabin comfort benefits are all documented here.
Section 05 — Investment Analysis
This is one of the most useful sections in the report. Using your vehicle's estimated fair market value (calculated from MSRP × depreciation retention rate), the report shows the estimated resale value each service preserves. PPF typically adds 8% FMV protection. Ceramic coating adds approximately 7%. Window tint adds 2%. These estimates are sourced from published third-party research including the XPEL/Atomik Research National Dealer Survey.
The section also explains overlap adjustment — since PPF and ceramic coating both protect paint condition and their benefits overlap, the combined impact is reduced by 30% to avoid overstating the value. The final number shows your estimated ROI: the ratio of estimated value protected to the cost of your services. For most customers, this exceeds 150%.
Section 06 — CARFAX & Warranty Coverage
This is a critically important section — and one of the most unique benefits of working with a Ceramic Pro certified facility like APC Auto Spa.
CARFAX Documentation
Every service completed at APC Auto Spa is automatically reported to CARFAX as part of your vehicle's permanent service history. The report confirms that your VIN has been verified, your mileage recorded, and your services documented by a facility-certified installer.
What this means in practice: when your CARFAX report is pulled — whether by you, a dealer, or a future buyer — it will show documented professional protection services performed by a certified facility. This is a tangible, transferable asset that supports your vehicle's resale value in a way that's visible to anyone in the transaction chain.
Warranty Coverage Table
The warranty section provides a complete, product-by-product breakdown of every warranty that applies to your vehicle's services:
- Ceramic Pro PPF — 12-year warranty covering defects like yellowing, delamination, cracking, and bubbling. Annual service required.
- Ceramic Pro ION — 7-year warranty covering premature coating failure, peeling, bubbling, and loss of hydrophobicity. Reverts to 3-year if annual inspection is missed.
- Ceramic Pro Ultimate ION — Lifetime warranty with the same coverage as ION. Reverts to 7-year if annual inspection is missed.
- Ceramic Pro Gold — Lifetime warranty covering factory-painted surfaces, rims, plastics, and windshield. Reverts to 5-year if annual inspection missed.
- Ceramic Pro Silver — 5-year warranty. Reverts to 2-year if annual inspection missed.
- Ceramic Pro Sport — 6-month warranty. No annual service required.
- KAVACA Ceramic IR Window Tint — Lifetime warranty. Will not fade, turn purple, bubble, peel, or crack. No annual service required.
For warranties requiring annual service, the report includes a note on what happens if an inspection is missed — and a reminder to contact APC Auto Spa to schedule your annual inspection before the anniversary date.
Section 07 — Care & Maintenance Instructions
This section is the practical guide to protecting your investment long-term. It's divided by service type and covers:
- PPF care: The 10-day cure period (no washing, no pressure washers, no products on the film), ongoing washing protocols, and what to avoid near film edges.
- Ceramic coating care: The 7–14 day cure period, why pH-neutral soap matters, the two-bucket wash method, and how to handle bird droppings, tree sap, and other contaminants promptly.
- Window tint care: The 3–5 day cure period before rolling windows down, why ammonia-based cleaners must be avoided permanently, and how to clean tinted glass correctly.
The section closes with a Quick Reference Guide — a side-by-side Do's and Don'ts card designed to be easy to remember and share.

How to Access Your Service Report Through My Garage
Beginning May 1, 2026, every APC customer has access to My Garage — a personal portal where you can retrieve your Vehicle Service Report at any time.
To access your report:
- Visit apcautospa.com and log in to your customer account.
- Navigate to My Garage from the menu.
- Your vehicle(s) and associated service history will appear.
- Select a job to view or download your complete Vehicle Service Report as a PDF.
My Garage gives you permanent access to your service documentation — useful when you want to share your protection history with a buyer, confirm your warranty terms before a trade-in, or simply reference your care instructions months after your service appointment.
Some owners prefer to go a step further. There's a long tradition among detail-oriented car people of printing out service records and keeping them with the vehicle — tucked in the glovebox, filed with the title, or slipped into a folder that travels with the car through every sale and transfer. The APC Service Report is designed to hold up in exactly that context. It reads professionally, covers every relevant detail, and tells the full story of what was done and why — not just a receipt, but a document that actually means something to someone seeing it for the first time years later.
That living history matters more than most people realize at the time of service. A well-documented vehicle tells a story of ownership pride. When a future buyer or dealer pulls that folder and sees a multi-page protection report alongside oil change records and maintenance logs, it signals that this car was cared for — and that translates directly into confidence and value. The protection you invested in today becomes part of the vehicle's permanent identity, even long after it's passed on to its next owner.
If you had services completed before May 1, 2026, your records are still in the system. Contact us at info@apcautospa.com or call (425) 818-2820 and we can assist you in accessing your history.
Why We Built the Service Report
We built the Vehicle Service Report because we believe transparency is part of premium service. When you spend $2,000 to $5,000 protecting a vehicle, you deserve a complete, professional record of what was done, why it matters, how it's warranted, and how to maintain it. A verbal summary at pickup isn't enough.
The report also reflects the way APC Auto Spa thinks about protection: not as a one-time transaction, but as a long-term relationship with your vehicle. The care instructions, warranty details, and CARFAX documentation are all designed to keep your investment working for you — whether you drive the car for ten years or sell it next spring.
If you have questions about your report or want to schedule your annual inspection, our team is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM at both our Monroe and Tukwila locations.
